First Sight: From the first glimpse of its sun-kissed rooftops to the hypnotic lullaby of waves brushing the shoreline, it was inevitable. The moment I set foot in Villa Bella of Oazure Villa Maurice in Bel Ombre, Mauritius, I fell in love. This luxurious property, tucked away in one of the most serene and beautiful corners of the world, offers more than just a vacation; it provides an unforgettable, enchanting experience.

First Impression: Tucked away on the southern coast of Mauritius, Bel Ombre, is a hidden paradise. The pristine coastline is bookended by sugar cane fields and national parks, culminating in a view that appears to be conjured straight out of a fantasy novel. Among this remarkable landscape sits Villa Oazure, a place that seemingly captures the essence of the entire island in a single, majestic property.

The first thing that struck me about Villa Oazure was the stunning design. The architecture marries contemporary aesthetics with traditional Mauritian elements, resulting in a blend that's both strikingly modern and quintessentially island-like. The natural elements of wood and stone, coupled with a palette that mirrors the sea and sky, seamlessly blend the indoors with the outdoors. Whether I was relaxing in the spacious living room or cooking in the state-of-the-art kitchen, I was always aware of the tropical paradise that surrounded me.

It Factor: Accompanied by this architecture is a level of comfort and luxury that goes above and beyond expectations. Each of the six bedrooms is tastefully furnished and offers a calming retreat, complete with en-suite bathrooms and awe-inspiring ocean views. No expense is spared in ensuring your comfort, from the high-thread-count bed linen to the plush, oversized towels.

Perhaps the jewel in Oazure villa's crown jewel is its outdoor amenities. The infinity pool, appearing to merge with the azure sea beyond, became my regular sunset haunt. The expansive terrace, perfect for dining al fresco or for lounging under the starlit sky, became my preferred reading spot. Meanwhile, the villa share grounds with So Sofitel hotel's private beach access which offered an unspoilt piece of paradise where I could walk for hours without seeing another soul till I cross over to the next resort.

Pleasure to Serve: But what truly sets Oazure Villa apart from other luxury accommodations is the exceptional service. The dedicated team at Villa Oazure ensured every single need was met. From the moment we arrived, we were treated as a VIP guests by check in personnel Danny Mootoosami, bringing a hot and delicious meal prepared for us, personalized tour arrangements upon request, and an amazing dedicated housekeeper who felt like family from day one to add to the almost magical landscape. Any issue we faced was immediately taken care of by the maintenance team, for example we had some sewage smell in one of the rooms. The team didn't settle until the problem is solved.

Location to attractions: One cannot forget the location of the villa, which is a gateway to some of Mauritius' best attractions. From the nearby beaches and Heritage Golf Club, renowned for its championship course, to the stunning Frederica Nature Reserve with its extensive trekking trails, there was never a shortage of activities to enjoy.

Gateway to Zen Land: The tranquility of Bel Ombre was a delightful surprise, far from the hustle and bustle of the more touristy northern coast. Here, I had the opportunity to mingle with locals, learn about the rich nature and culture of the island, and, in the process, form an emotional connection that left a deep imprint on our hearts. In the first place, Oazure Villa was an alternative option to the Heritage Villa which we couldn't get on Booking.com in the near by neighborhood. To be honest, I was super glad that we didn't get it. It was an alternative option for the best which turned out to be more affordable and spacious than Heritage Villa with even better service, larger pool and closer to the beach.

Mind the Frogs: Frogs were a bit of a night hustle. They would gather around the pool late at night to start the Beethoven's 5th Symphony towards the end of our first week in the villa. My kids had to jump to action the next day by chasing them away from the pool in vain.

5 Stars with love: In conclusion, I fell in love with Oazure Villa for a multitude of reasons. I give it 5 stars with love. The striking beauty of the villa and its surroundings, the luxurious comfort it provided, the heart-warming hospitality, and the serene tranquility of Bel Ombre all contributed to this love affair. I believe that anyone who has the good fortune to visit will leave a piece of their heart behind, forever entwined with the spirit of Oazure Villa Maurice.
