Nestled on the outskirts of Bascarsija, the historic old town of Sarajevo, the President Hotel stands 100 meters from Latin bridge and 200 meters from Sebilj Fountain and 150 meters from Bascarsija Street. With a reputation for being the best in the old town, this esteemed hotel offers a memorable experience for travelers. From its clean and well-maintained rooms to its proximity to all the local cuisines where the friendly staff make their best to ensure a delightful stay in the vibrant capital city of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

THE ROOM STORY

A Junior Suite Fit for Stars

During my recent visit to the President Hotel in January 2023, I had the pleasure of staying in a Junior Suite 412, a room that had previously accommodated the renowned actor Robert De Niro. Although the bedroom had only one window, it offered a cozy and intimate setting, perfect for a peaceful night's sleep.

One Window

Although the junior suit had only one window located in the bedroom and not the living room, it offered a cozy and intimate setting, perfect for a peaceful night's sleep.

CLEANESS

The House Keeping

The room was meticulously maintained throughout my stay. The housekeeping staff paid great attention to detail, leaving no corner untouched and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness.

The Hotel Vs. Old Town: Oldies Win

While the hotel food leans towards the basic side, the old town saves the day. The President Hotel's strategic location on the outskirts of the old town makes it an ideal choice for travelers looking to immerse themselves in the historic charm and food of Sarajevo. The old town, also known as Baščaršija, is a captivating maze of narrow streets lined with Ottoman-era architecture, vibrant markets, and traditional cafés. Within walking distance from the hotel, visitors can explore iconic landmarks such as the Gazi Husrev-bey Mosque, the Latin Bridge, and the Sebilj fountain. The hotel's proximity to the old town allows guests to conveniently experience the cultural and historical essence of Sarajevo. On a final note, $100 converts to approx. 150 something Boasnian Marks. I enjoyed everything I wanted in 3 days for 100 Bosnian Marks. You do the math.
